Shades of Dave Pell Octet

David Pell was an American jazz saxophonist, bandleader and record producer. He was best known for leading a cool jazz octet in the 1950s. His arrangements were some of the best performed across the USA for an eight-piece band during that period.
Tonight, that sound is recreated by Shades of Dave Pell, a home-grown eight-piece who keep the music alive in what will be an unforgettable performance.

Paul Paterson Trio

If you like Gypsy Jazz and Hot Club ‘Manouche’ style jazz, created in the cafés of Paris in the 1930s, then Paul Paterson is your man. A brilliant virtuoso performer of that incredible Django Reinhardt-style guitar playing, Paul leads his trio in two hours of great entertainment this evening.

Clark Stewart 

Scotland’s very own Mr Entertainment! Clark has been a professional entertainer in theatres, cruise ships and the Scottish club scene for over 35 years. He has appeared in many musicals and pantomimes and has worked with everyone from Ken Dodd, Susan Boyle, Billy Connolly and Elaine Paige to André Previn!
He recently worked with a big band, but tonight he will be in the company of Campbell Normand, leading a trio on piano, for an evening of Songbook classics and a smattering of comedy.
